A Rural Review 2016: Week 24!

Hello one and all and welcome back to A Rural Review - the (occasionally...) weekly blog series where we recap some of the highlights of the Rural Arts week and look forward to some amazing things we have coming up in the calendar. This week, as Rural Arts weeks usually are, was packed full to the brim of fun stuff to talk about - so why waste any time rambling in the introduction?! Let's dive straight into... What's been happening Paradise Lost   Very atmospheric no!? On Friday and Saturday, Lost Dog dance company performed their amazing show Paradise Lost  as part of the ON Tour scheme - and what a show it was! Paradise Lost  is a one-man, contemporary dance show retelling the entirety of Milton's epic poem about the creation of the world - and nothing at all like the show you were picturing when you read that sentence.. There were huge crowds at both Skipton and Newton Le Willows, and the audience was blown away by this witty, inventive, humorous and powerfu

It's been a while hasn't it? Hello one and all and welcome back to A Rural Review. For those of you that don't know (or who can't remember considering how rubbish we have been with blogging lately...)
