Cupcake and Christmas fun at The Courthouse

The first ‘A Taste Of’ session back after the holiday break was a fun relaxed affair, making clay angels, animals and cup cakes. Definitely an eclectic mix of models! Clay sessions are always messy, and a chance to play with new techniques. The afternoon was a perfect chance to make gifts for the fast approaching festive season.
Making the clay animals gives the opportunity for a vast amount of creativity. Once the basic, four legged, shape is made the only limit is imagination; pigs, cows, sheep even dragons.
To give the models texture different materials, such as lace and wallpaper, were on hand.
Once the models are dry the next stage will be glazing and firing, to bring character to these 3D ceramic creations.
