Looking Back: Highlights from May and June at The Courthouse

Saturday 18thMay - Hey Clay
Hey Clay was our ceramics event, with a range of workshops, artist demos and local artwork available to buy.We ran three workshops – making ceramic fish, ceramic planters, and ceramic ring dishes.We also had a ‘Play with Clay’ area for young children, giving them the chance to get their hands stuck into creating with clay. The event was a success, with some beautiful ceramic work coming out of the workshops!

Tuesday 28thMay - Animals mask making and performance by Lempen Puppets of Cardboard Carnival
We had a colourful, creative and musical day – with an Animal Masks workshop followed by the Lempen Puppet performance of ‘Cardboard Carnival’. Lempen Puppet Theatre Company brought their imaginative, spellbinding and surprising CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS to The Courthouse. The Courthouse was full of music and storytelling, and some great masks came out of our workshop.
